Coming up:

Our practice webex meeting is Tuesday, May 26 at 11:00 a.m.  You MUST read the webex rules (yellow tab next to webex training tab).  I have sent the directions to enter the meeting through ClassDojo.

Digital packets are done!  You will receive a paper packet in the mail that will be used for the last 2 weeks of school.

I have the kids' desks all packed up and ready for you to pick up.  You will get information on that from Mr. Choate soon.

Technology is due to be returned May 29 or June 1.

I will continue to check in through Dojo!  Please contact me if you have any questions.  I love to see your updates!

Responsibility for ourselves

Personal best

Mariposa Computer Science Magnet School

Mrs. Perry

Wonder. Learn. Grow.

Every day your child will begin with the Monarch pledge and A Pledge to Myself: To take responsibility for ourselves, respect others and do our personal best.

We also focus on PBIS - building positive behaviors both individually and as a class.  Ask your child about the Monarch RULES!

Respect for others

Our school is lucky to have a talented staff of state-certified professionals.  Our teachers are creative, enthusiastic, and excited about learning. The school employs 22 classroom teachers and 4 special education teachers.

Our goal is to create a warm, open environment where students feel safe enough to ask questions, explore and seek answers. We challenge every student to surpass his or her own personal best.  Mariposa is particularly proud of its diversity and takes every opportunity to celebrate those characteristics that make us different. We welcome all who come through our door.

In my class, I approach each child as an individual with their own talents and one-of-a-kind needs. My goal is to help your student meet the learning benchmarks for third grade, using the following:

  • Classroom instruction
  • Small-group projects
  • One-on-one tutoring
  • After-school enrichments
